If a caller asks to switch language partway through, the agent does it without losing context.
Last updated May 21, 2026
Solwees starts every call in a language picked from the caller's country code (e.g., a Spanish number gets Spanish, a French number gets French). The customer is never asked which language they want and never hears a 'press 1 for English' menu. The first sentence is in their language.
Mid-call switching: the caller can say 'do you speak English?' or 'can we switch to Russian?' at any point. The agent acknowledges the switch in the new language, then continues. Context is preserved end-to-end: the partial booking, the customer's name, dietary notes, anything already collected — none of it resets when the language switches.
Multilingual customers: especially common in tourist regions. A booking taken in English at 7pm can have its confirmation message sent in Spanish if the caller switched mid-call; the agent uses the last-active language for outbound messages. Reminders go out in whichever language the booking was made.
Languages supported with native voice quality: 50+, including English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Russian, Polish, Arabic, Chinese, Ukrainian and the rest of the major European and Asian languages. The site UI and admin panel are available in 11 of those locales (en, es, es-MX, de, fr, sv, pt, pt-BR, ru, pl, ar). Site UI coverage expands every quarter; voice language coverage is already complete.
