Solwees uses Stripe to collect prepayments and deposits directly inside the WhatsApp or web conversation. We connect via Composio OAuth. No API keys to copy and paste. From app.solwees.ai go to AI Assistant > App Directory > Stripe > Connect, then authorize on Stripe's site. Takes under a minute.
Once connected, open the Stripe card again and switch to the Settings tab. Toggle Require prepayment on, then choose when prepayment kicks in. Two modes are available: Always (every client pays upfront before the booking is confirmed) and Smart (only clients with a high share of cancelled appointments in their CRM history are asked to prepay).
Smart mode uses the cancellation history from your CRM (e.g. Booksy). You set the cancellation rate threshold. Clients at or above the threshold are asked to prepay; loyal regulars below the threshold book without payment friction. Useful for filtering risky bookings without punishing your best customers.
Prepayment amount: choose Percent (e.g. 30% of service price) or Fixed (e.g. €25 per booking). Percent uses the price from your CRM. Fixed amounts are charged in EUR by default.
Refund and cancellation handling is built in. If a client cancels inside your refund window (you set the rules), Solwees triggers the refund automatically via Stripe and updates the booking status.
