Vision AI: reading photos, menus and references

Vision AI is the part of Solwees that handles incoming images and visual references. The customer doesn't need to describe in words what they want — they send a photo and the agent reads it. Three common patterns: a hair-color reference photo on WhatsApp; a wine label or dish photo on Instagram DM; a QR code menu scan from a phone in the restaurant.

For salons: Vision AI identifies the requested service category (balayage, highlights, a specific cut style) and matches it to your service list. It quotes the right duration and price. This prevents the most common scheduling error in salons: booking a 'just a trim' slot against what's really a 3-hour color appointment.

For restaurants: a customer can photograph a dish they saw on Instagram and ask if it's available tonight. Solwees matches the dish to your menu and confirms availability — or, if it's seasonal and currently off, offers the closest current dish from your menu.

Limits to be aware of: very low-resolution photos may fail to extract details; handwritten notes are not OCR'd reliably; photos of competitor establishments (so a customer can request the same service) are recognised at category level only, not item-level. Vision AI is included on every Solwees plan from Studio and up at no extra per-image cost.
