Prices and promotions

A price list in a sheet becomes answers about prices. Hidden tabs, tabs marked as archive and tabs whose dates have passed are skipped.

Your FAQ in a doc

A Google Doc is split by its headings into articles: parking, preparation for a procedure, cancellation rules, whatever you write there.

Instructions for the AI

Tell the AI how to read the file, for example which column is the promotion price or which tab is for which branch.

Share the file
Give Solwees viewer access to the sheet or doc. If access is missing, Solwees shows the address to share it with.

Add it as a source
In the Knowledge Base, open «Sources», press «Add» and paste the link. Add instructions for the AI if the file needs them.

Sync after changes
When you update the file, press «Sync now» on the source, and the articles are rebuilt.

Good to know

Sync runs when you add the file and when you press «Sync now». Automatic sync is switched off for now.
Articles from a synced file can’t be edited in the knowledge base: change the file and sync it.
Very large sheets may be too big to read.
Google Sheets, Google Docs and .xlsx files in Google Drive are supported.
The knowledge base is available from the Solo plan.

Questions

Does Solwees change my sheet?

No. It only reads the file. Nothing is written back to Google.

How do new prices reach the assistant?

Update the file and press «Sync now» on the source. The articles are rebuilt from the new version.

Can one sheet hold several promotions?

Yes. Say in the instructions which promotion price to quote, for example the lowest. Tabs named with a date range that has ended, like 01.09.2026 - 30.09.2026, are skipped.

Which files work?

Google Sheets, Google Docs and .xlsx files stored in Google Drive.

Do I still need the knowledge base?

The file becomes part of it. You can keep other articles next to it, written by hand or uploaded as files.

If my booking system already has prices, do I need a sheet?

Usually not: with Altegio, Booksy and other booking systems the assistant reads prices from them. A sheet is useful for promotions and anything the booking system doesn’t hold.
